We are interested in cinema exploring people and identity, technology and artificial
intelligence, society and culture, nature and the planet, as well as new voices from
Latin America.
The festival is open to narrative, documentary, animation and experimental films
from around the world.
The first edition of Paralelo 34 Film Festival will take place
in Argentina in June 2027.
The program will bring together an international
competition, selected screenings for audiences, an
awards ceremony and professional meetings.
We want Paralelo 34 to grow beyond an annual event into an international
community of filmmakers, audiences and people curious about the world we are
becoming.
Over time, the festival will develop community programs, international initiatives
and new ways for filmmakers and audiences to connect.
